Seeds will be shuffled before the tournament starts and from there properly seeded with ELO in mind.

For the 1st match, stage strike the starter list in 1-2-1 fashion. After each match, the winner of the previous match bans 3 stages (Players may counterpick a stage that they previously banned in the set). The player who lost the previous match chooses a stage, then the player who won chooses their character, then the player who lost chooses their character.


No characters banned except for Giga Bowser. If you want to be SoPo go ahead.

4 stock, 8 minute matches. Most matches best of 3 (Winner's Finals, Loser's Finals and Grand Finals are best of 5). Items set to "none" and tabbed "off" (this is to prevent DDD from throwing items).


No excessive stalling (this includes abusing Jiggs’ Rising Pound and Mario’s Up-B Walljump).


In the event that the game crashes in the middle of a match, that match will be restarted from the beginning with the same characters and stage. If a player uses a known glitch to intentionally crash the game or otherwise make it unfinishable, that player may be forced to forfeit the match or be DQed at the TO's discretion. This also applies to desyncs.


If time runs out, the person with the most stock left (or least % if they are equal) wins. If the % is equal as well, play a 1 stock 3 minute match, same characters and stage.


Buffer Assist (the option in-game) off.

In the event of excessive lag, pausing is acceptable. Count down to unpause in the netplay chat when both players see fit.

If a person's computer can not handle a certain stage, then that person must ban that stage (effectively using up their ban). For multiple stages that may not be run, this also applies. (You must use bans to ban laggy stages that you can't run. If there are even more stages that lag than bans are allowed, please contact a TO.)

Gentleman's Rule is in effect (if both players agree to a specific rule then they may enact it).

EXCEPTIONS TO GENTLEMAN'S RULE: no lengthening of game (e.g. 99 stocks, best of 5), and no changing of the game mode, (e.g. Time mode, Special Brawls etc.).
